VidCarry

Privacy Policy

How VidCarry collects, uses, and protects information.

This policy explains what information VidCarry may collect through the website, inquiry forms, Calendly bookings, and client communications.

01

Information we collect

We may collect information you submit through forms, booking links, careers pages, talent invitation pages, emails, calls, or project communications. This may include your name, email, company, website, service needs, budget range, project details, meeting details, country or city, phone number, social links, portfolio links, CV or resume links, availability, expected rates, work preferences, talent type, submitted videos, and any files or links you choose to share.

We may also collect technical information such as device type, browser, pages visited, approximate location, referring page, and cookie consent preferences when you use the website.

02

How we use information

We use information to respond to inquiries, schedule calls, evaluate project fit, prepare proposals, deliver services, manage client relationships, improve the website, understand traffic, and protect the security of our systems.

If you submit a careers application, we may use that information to review role fit, evaluate portfolio quality, contact you about hiring or freelance opportunities, and coordinate potential production work.

If you submit talent materials, we may use that information to review casting fit, match you with suitable campaigns, coordinate usage terms, plan shoots, and contact you about production opportunities.

If you become a client, we may use project information to plan shoots, source creators, produce edits, create ad assets, coordinate paid ads support, and manage delivery.

03

Creator accounts, portfolios, and inquiries

Creator Portfolio accounts may include authentication details, public profile information, uploaded media, project metadata, payment and receipt references, storage usage, moderation history, directory preferences, resource downloads, and account settings. Public profile information and approved projects can be indexed by search engines when the profile is public.

Portfolio inquiries are stored in the creator dashboard and may be emailed to the creator through Resend. Inquiry senders should not include sensitive personal, financial, health, or identity information. VidCarry may retain inquiry and moderation records for fraud prevention, support, legal compliance, and platform safety.

Creator analytics aggregate profile views, media plays, contact clicks, directory clicks, and inquiries by day. VidCarry does not intentionally retain raw visitor IP addresses in the creator analytics tables.

04

Calendly and booking data

VidCarry uses Calendly to help visitors book calls. When you use the booking widget or open Calendly, Calendly may collect information according to its own privacy practices.

Booking details may be used to schedule, prepare for, and follow up on the call.

05

Cookies and analytics

We use essential cookies to make the website work and store cookie consent choices. With consent, we may also use non-essential cookies, pixels, and tags to improve the experience, understand website traffic, measure conversions, and improve advertising.

Optional analytics and advertising tools may include Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity, Meta Pixel, and LinkedIn Insight Tag. These tools may process technical information such as pages visited, referrers, device/browser details, approximate location, and interaction events, but VidCarry avoids sending sensitive form details or uploaded files into analytics events.

More information is available in the Cookie Policy.

06

How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers, contractors, creators, production partners, scheduling tools, hosting providers, analytics providers, payment processors, or ad platforms when needed to operate the website or deliver services.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transfer such as a merger, acquisition, or reorganization.

07

International visitors

VidCarry works with global brands and service providers. Information may be processed in countries other than where you live, depending on the tools, hosting, contractors, and platforms involved.

Where required, we aim to use reasonable safeguards for cross-border processing.

08

Data retention

We keep information for as long as needed to respond to inquiries, provide services, maintain business records, resolve disputes, meet legal obligations, and improve our operations.

If a project does not move forward, we may still retain inquiry and communication records for a reasonable period unless you request deletion and we are not legally required to keep them.

09

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information. No website, transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Please avoid sending sensitive personal data unless it is necessary for the project.

10

Your choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal information.

You can contact VidCarry through the contact page to make a privacy request. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

11

Children's privacy

This website and VidCarry's services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
